How To Setup An Extra Stream Of Income Of $500+ In 1 Day Or Less

This is the second part of ‘How To Profit From This Almost Untapped Market‘.
In my previous article I told you about selling your marketing services to small, offline businesses that don’t have a website or don’t properly use it to make more sales. A few years ago I started offering online marketing services thru my company Business Growth Advisors. Here are some of the results:
The first day I launched my website www.BusinessGrowthAdvisorsInc.com and put out a press release, educating the readers about what online marketing techniques can do for a business. Also I out-strategized my competitors by offering a 100% money-back guarantee - something that’s quite unheard off amongst my competitors. I set my new business up as the leading expert and best offer.
Within the first day I attracted 3 people to call for a free exploratory meeting. On the phone I asked them about their business and tried to create a special ‘speech’ about their market and website. During the 1-hour meeting I told them about what they’re missing out on, what their competitors are doing and what they could do.
After 72 hours of launching the website I had done all 3 meetings and got all of them on a contract. Here’s what I got out of these 3 days of work:
A company selling children’s furniture wanted a complete re-design of their website, a full SEO package and wanted me to run their Adwords campaign. Total profit: $12,000 upfront and $1,000 monthly.
Another company sold cleaning services to elderly people. They wanted a complete website, a small SEO campaign and also wanted to be able to contact me for more advice during the rest of the year. This resulted in a nice $5,000 upfront and $450 monthly.
The last company was one that sold bowling balls online. Their website didn’t convert well, thus they needed my copywriting services and also consulted me for advanced marketing and follow-up strategies. I cashed $3,500 + a 5% of yearly (net) profit - estimated at $40,000/year.
Total costs for me were very low. My website has been designed for $200 and since I already had the hosting, it didn’t cost me more. Then I issued the press release at PRWeb, which costs me $180. In total I spend $380 plus 3 days of my time, to get a return of $20,500 plus monthly and yearly recurring fees.
Anybody can do this, it’s that simple. You just have to get out there and educate your prospects on what they’re missing out on (fear) and what they can possibly earn by using your services (greed).
Use those two emotions in your marketing, both written and orally - you’ll notice that prospects become much more responsive and eager to buy.
